The boats are prepared for your reservation; members generally pay only for the fuel they use.

The answer in one sentence

Fuel is not included in standard monthly dues: members pay for their usage, and most Freedom locations provide a convenient fueling process and handle refueling.
  • Pay for fuel used
  • Refueling is usually handled
  • Process varies by marina
01

Prepared does not mean fuel is free.

Freedom’s public pricing structure treats fuel as a variable cost. The boat can be ready when you arrive while the fuel consumed during your outing is measured and charged separately.

That keeps a light cruise from subsidizing a fuel-intensive watersports day.

02

The convenience is operational.

Most locations offer fueling at or near the marina and handle refueling for members. You avoid hauling cans, stabilizing fuel, or making the ownership task part of your weekend.

Ask the local team how usage is measured, what rate applies, when it is charged, and whether any marina-specific process differs.

03

Include fuel in every comparison.

Owners, renters, and club members all consume fuel. A fair cost comparison includes it on each side rather than pretending one option makes energy use disappear.

Your typical boat type, pace, passenger load, activities, and hours underway will shape the real number.
